Join the Portsmouth Museums for Celebrate Kids—It’s YOUR Day! This is the day that is all about kids, and when kids get to take their adults out to play! Visit us in Olde Towne Portsmouth and take advantage of all 4 Portsmouth Museums as we provide a day of fun for kids of all ages! Enjoy World War II era activities to celebrate the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Museum’s newest exhibit: Keels of Victory: The City & the Shipyard, 1921-1945. Make and fire at a Target Kite, plant your own Victory Garden, learn how to ration, and design your own World War II era poster. Visit the Lightship PORTSMOUTH, and join in on the School of the Pirate with the Moody Crewe Pirates. Play at Andalo’s Clubhouse and see a Fairy Tale exhibit next door at the Courthouse Galleries.
